How to Make Bugs Corner Bookmarks with Template

What you need:
  • our template
  • paper (regular or cardstock)
  • coloring supplies if printing the black and white version
  • scissors
  • glue

Step by Step Instructions

Print out the craft template.
If you printed the black and white bookmarks, have the kids color them in.
Cut out the templates (cut along the outer line).
You will notice diagonal lines on the head of the bugs, one of those lines being a full line and others dashed lines.
Now fold along the dashed lines. You can make the folds beforehand or just fold as you go.
Fold the first diagonal line – the one that is separating the part with the mouth and the part with the glue. Next fold the part with the glue back.
Fold the next one, this will bring the part with the facial features over the part with the mouth.
Flip the bookmark, apply glue on the part that is marked with the word glue.
Fold the last part over the part with the word glue and press it down for the glue to set.
All done, your bookmark is complete.
